The ORRC uses the iRIS electronic compliance platform (formerly known as iMedRIS) to manage the creation, review, and management of submissions that require the review and approval of the IACUC, IBC, IRB, as well as the COI and MTA Committees.

Request an iRIS Account

Individuals who wish to access the iRIS platform to create or manage a study or project must first complete and submit a User Access Request Form.

Accounts are fully configured within 2 business days from date that the request form was submitted. Please note that an active howard.edu or bison.howard.edu email address is required for access to the User Access Request Form as well as the iRIS platform.

Contact the ORRC for instructions on how to add individuals who do not have an active howard.edu or bison.howard.edu email address to the iRIS platform.
